Is it safe to leave unattended?
No. It's an open flame on a gas line. Turn it off at the canister when you're done and let it cool before packing.
Can I use it inside a tent or awning?
No. Never run a gas stove in an enclosed space — carbon monoxide is invisible and it kills. Cook outside, or under an open porch with air moving through.
Is it stable on uneven ground?
The legs fold out wide and low, which is why it sits flat on rock and packed dirt. On soft or sloping ground, level a spot first — that applies to any stove.
Can I actually simmer on it, or is it just a boiler?
You can simmer. It has stepless flame control — a dial you turn to exactly the heat you want, not three fixed settings. Rice, sauces and curries hold fine.
Does it really work in wind?
Better than a single-burner stove. Five smaller flames are much harder for a gust to steal than one large one, and the recessed design shields them.
Can it hold a full-size pan?
Yes. The pot supports swing up for wide pans and woks, or fold down for small pots and kettles. Serrated grips stop anything sliding.
Is the gas canister included?
No. Canisters can't be shipped internationally, so you'll buy yours locally — they're available at any outdoor or hardware shop.
